I truly enjoyed this game. The visual s was unique and the detective portion was really nice. Great characters and overall game. I was only hoping it was longer. Overall I really enjoyed this.

awesome game

My computer is having a lot of trouble running this, which is a shame because I love the visuals.

Dang, yeah I didn't have much time to make this run efficiently. Is your main issue with text scrolling by extremely slowly? I know some people have issues with that since it's tied to framerate.

Let me know, it probably wouldn't be much trouble for me to add a post-jam version of the game with reduced graphics requirements and no text scroll ^^

My main issue was that the game keeps crashing, but I was having framerate drops as well.

An interesting game. Loved the story and the atmosphere and the old school detective work.

For a first game jam game, this was really promising. Really nice art direction, some funny moments, and a fun plot to follow along with. Would really love to play more from you some day!

This really was a treat! I'm wary of mysteries because I feel like they're usually an excuse for creators to feel smug about how clever they are, but this experience really was catered to the player and I had a fantastic time playing it. Great job!

Glad you enjoyed it! This is a really solid playthrough. I think you're the only person I've seen the diviner call an "ace detective" on their first try. There are a lot of opportunities to mess that up and have him call you incompetent... :)

It definitely did end up way more mystery than horror -- originally it was going to be scarier but I kind of doubled down on the mystery in the end and now it's just a bit unsettling.

Very interesting, great aesthetics, can see why it placed the way it did in the Scream Jam 2020 rankings! Congrats on 1st in Story and Entertainment (both!)!

This was one of my favorite Jam entries!

I can confirm that the Linux distribution does, indeed, work.

Neat!
